About a year ago before we moved to our new home, I was working away in my studio when my husband Oliver and our daughter Camilla came down for a visit. I love these little interruptions--I always want my daughter to see what I am up to.
This visit turned out to be particularly special because Camilla hopped up onto my lap and asked to throw pots with me. I was delighted by her enthusiasm, and as you will see in the video, she was really quite graceful and able to concentrate--especially considering she was two years old at the time.
I am busy this month with tons of teaching and lots of making, and despite all of that I am working hard to find the time to stop and smile at the spring flowers and my daughter's joy in the small things.
I wanted to share this sweet and unforgettable moment with you in the hope that it inspires you to do the same.
